Created a RAS log (see relevant pieces below) - I did not find the root cause of my problem there.Īnyone having an idea how I could analyze the problem any further?.

Looked into device manager (with and without devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices) - no errors shown there.

Recreate the VPN connection from scratch - did not help, same error.

Restarted the PC (of course) - did not help.

Both connections (VPN and UMTS stick) work fine on other computers. I get the same error when trying to connect to the internet with my UMTS stick. Whenever I try to connect to our company's SSTP VPN I get an error 633 "The modem (or other connecting device) Last week all my VPN connections and UMTS modems suddenly stopped working.
